As the controller and processor of data we will use your personal information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of landaubooks.com, other than what's necessary to fulfill your request, i.e. to answer a query or ship a book. If you use the contact form on this website you will not be automatically added to the Newsletter mailing list or any other mailing list. This will only happen if you subscribe.
What data is collected?
The only kind of personal data landaubooks.com collects for marketing purposes is an email address. If you sign up via a Mailchimp link, paperlii.com, wix.com, a third party that mentions landaubooks.com explicitly, or a popup for a mailing list, landaubooks.com may contact you via email in the future. This will be to tell you about specials, new books, promotions, news or updates, such as changes to this privacy policy.
Any mailing/postal addresses provided by you for the fulfillment of book or merchandise orders will be collected privately and is only stored by landaubooks.com for as long as is necessary to complete that order. Depending on your country of origin, your address may be transferred to our nominated shipper via labeling software. Your address will not be stored after the shipment is dispatched. No mailing addresses will be used for any marketing purposes, ever.
We do not store credit card or banking information. Transactions are always done via reputable parties such as PayPal or banking institutions.
Under what legal basis can your data be processed?
We can use your data on the basis that you have shown legitimate interest in landaubooks.com and signed up to the mailing list willingly and given consent to be contacted.

The Mailing List (found at the bottom of every page) is hosted by www.wix.com and the Newsletter is hosted by www.paper.li. The Mailing List is used for updates and marketing information on the products listed on this website. The Newsletter is a free service for subscribers that gathers news, views and events that are trending on social media and news outlets worldwide on matters of interest to the book, publishing, author and other literary professions. Subscribers to either of these publications may unsubscribe at any time.
