Langbourne's LOYALTY

'Langbourne's Loyalty' is the 5th book in the Langbourne Series.

Beginning in 1900, and with the Anglo Boer War all but over, the Langbourne brothers set their sights on a bigger and better business. Relationships develop and family life is now a consideration.

But the war is not over, and a resurgence finds David in a very uncomfortable situation, in not just his business' survival, but his personal situation.

Louis embraces the business community of South Africa, and Harry, for the first time, starts to take a deep look at what Mother Africa has to offer him.

Morris piles on the pressure, and another bold and risky move by him puts the family business in dire straits yet again.

In an underlying theme found throughout this series, Loyalty, particularly from a most unexpected quarter, comes to the fore in these trying times.

Based on the true story of the young Langbourne brothers, immerse yourself in the unfolding history of a magnificent continent.

A visit to Matjiesfontein with Sharon. In 'Loyalty', Harry disembarks at Matjiesfontein rail station (page 201 in the paperback) during a short delay. A lovely town - highly recommend a vist to the museum 'under' the railway platform!

Visiting the Lord Milner Hotel in Matjiesfontein. (Also page 201 in the 'Loyalty' paperback.) A short historical tour of the hotel is fascinating. Well worth the visit. See if you can spot the ghost while you are there! Note the Union Jack flying above the hotel.
